HREM Micro

Overview

Optical HREM Micro is a straightforward High Resolution Episcopic Microscopy(HREM) instrument. This instrument is a lower cost model with all of the same basic principles as our flagship model the ultra. The micro is part of the second generation of Optical HREM.

Designed with cost and size in mind the micro is as small as can be. While achieving 25mm x 30mm x 30mm samples.

Specification

The standard Micro configuration comes with the following.

• Optical platform can image samples 25mm x 30mm x 30mm. *

• A fixed XY platform.

• 1 morphology channel illumination as standard.

• Variable zoom optics from 1mm to 30mm in field.

• Included OHREM Acquire capture software, no license and free support.

• 20 megapixel resolution.

• Extraction unit for sample removal.

• 1 year warranty.

• On site training for one or two full days.

• Remote support for 1 year.

• 1 split mould for resin HREM samples custom made.

• 20 chucks for HREM.

• PC setup with all software and drivers.

*if greater sizes required an Ultra is the solution.

Add ons and extras

These addons and extras can be fitted after the machine is installed.

• More than 1 illumination channel and filter set, this can include filter wheels/sliders. For imaging different fluorescence channels. Up to 8 controllable channels and intensity’s, adaptable in the acquire software.

• Micro can be fitted with different imaging setups, upon request. Higher resolutions, more sensitivity, colour or monochrome.

• Wavelength compensation.

• Filter wheels and sliders.

• More Split moulds for resin.

• More chucks.

• Extended warranty’s.

Applications

Micro can be used to image any High Resolution Episcopic Microscopy (HREM) sample. However, it is perfect for imaging singular embryonic hearts (mice, zebrafish, chicken). As well as imaging whole embryos. The micro is the perfect introduction to HREM imaging with the opportunity to venture into the Ultra.
